🌞 An Afternoon of Birding with Noelle
Aloha! My name is Noelle, and today I spent my afternoon immersed in the sights and sounds of our resident birds here at Maui Bird House.
From the upstairs balcony, I watched Java Sparrows and House Finches swoop down to perch on the railing. In the lower field, Zebra Doves pecked at seeds while Myna Birds and Cardinals foraged together peacefully.
I was especially curious about the endemic birds of Maui — those unique to Hawaii. Do they still exist here in Kula? As I scanned the treetops, I felt a deep appreciation for the delicate balance of our local ecosystem. The warm sunlight glistened on feathers, wings fluttered in friendly flocks, and birdsong filled the air.
